Our Story
Contract Exchange Corporation was founded in 1981 with one simple goal: helping people find real estate solutions when traditional options didn't fit.
At just 28 years old, with his first child on the way, Anthony E. Schubert started the company by purchasing and servicing land contracts for private investors. Built on honest guidance, dependable service, and long-term relationships, the business grew steadily through referrals and the trust of its clients.
As the company expanded, Tony's sons joined the family business—Tony Jr. growing the company's real estate services and Christopher helping lead Contract Exchange into the future as a licensed Iowa Mortgage Banker.
Today, more than 45 years later, Contract Exchange continues to help buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners across Iowa with the same values it was founded on: reliability, clarity, integrity, and personalized solutions that fit each unique situation.
